Farm Visit Part 1 ( Bottle Tree Park )

Was thinking of something different rather than going to shopping centre.. So I have decided on the Farm Visit.. Been searching all over the Internet for location & what kind of farm is there in Singapore.. To my surprise there is lots of farm locating in Singapore..! Pick 3 places.. First one is Pasir Ris Kids Kampung.. But luckily I called them up this morning.. To check if there is any school event that has already booked their place.. Yes is hooked till 4pm.. So only left 2 option on my list.. So below is the Farm that we visited today! ^^

First Stop : Bottle Tree Park

I have seen a few blogger that blog about this place when I'm searching thru google.. Went to read up & Seem quite interesting.. When we drive in there the place seem super quiet.. Must be because we went on a weekday.. Had our lunch at one of the restaurant there.. The dim sum is disappointing.. =.= But the porridge & Hor Fun tasted good.. So hubby just eat the porridge.. Went to walk around the fishing area.. Is hot but there's is cool breeze at the same time.. So not too bad..

First Area visited : Vegetable Farm

It grow a few kind of vegetable but I didn't know which is which.. Only saw papaya leave.. Lol.. So I assume they plant papaya too? Nothing much on the Vegetable Farm.. Then we head to Prawn Fishing side..


Second Area Visited: Longkang Fishing

Uncle is super nice.. He puts all the LongKang fish on the smallest pond for Benson.. Is safer for him too.. After struggling to guide him to catch the fish... Due to Benson height.. The way he fish is impossible.. He might drop into the pond... So We decided to put him into the pond instead.. Before doing that.. Hubby went to ask the uncle is it possible to put him in... He say yes... So there He goes.. Into the pond! Haha... The height of the water is only till Benson knee.. So is fine.. I joined in with him as well.. =) I think we r more excited than him.. Haha.. Hubby is super good at longkang fishing I can say.. He caught 90% of the fish ... After a while Benson start playing with the water.. Then we decided is enough of experiencing LongKang Fishing... Went to wash hands & our feet... While Hubby took the fish to packed & return the net.. Get Benson changed.. Then say Bye Bye to the fishes.. Benson feel a little sad.. But we said we will bring him back again..


Price : $10 unlimited time ( not sure is it due to weekdays..) because went I saw in the website it says $10 for 1hr..

Things include : One small fish plastic tank that u can bring home to put the fish in.. There's 3 colours to choose from.. We pick Red.. & a fishing net..

Note : The Fishing Net need to return to the uncle after u done with ur fishing....

Review? Ok here it goes..

The place give me a peaceful feeling.. Away from city... But we will still able to see Mrt ....

Playground : a bit dirty for my liking.. Because I see dry dog shit on the sand.. So didn't really let Benson play.. One more reason is because the sun is quite hot as we reached about 11.30am...

Food rating is 6/10.. But do note that there is 2 more restaurant there... So u might wanna try out too..
