Today is a fruitful day!! We had booked Thomas Movie... Is Benson first movie! So excited... He love Thomas Very much... We Woke up @ 8.30am to get ready for a fun morning. Took bus to EHub.. Was happy that Benson behave very well on the bus.. Took bus 3.. Suppose to be a 20mins ride.. But was a little delayed.. So abt 30 mins then we reached.. Went to had our breakfast at burger king ( my fav ) =) Then went to collect " Thomas & Friends " movie ticket! Guess what.. This is the very first movie for Benson.. So Me & Hub is super excited.. A little stress.. But still we r feeling very positive that Benson will behave well... =)

After Movie we went Wild Wild Wet... Benson is so excited & keep saying swimming... Hehe... Daddy went to buy ticket & Benson keep pointing asking me to bring him in... Finally get to go swimming on such a hot sunny day... Feel like lying in the water forever... We played the slide for almost 30 times i think... LOL... till my muscle ache due to walking up the stairs & We 3 got sunburn after our swimming session.. Me & Hub body is so painful due to the burn.. Benson ended up with both ears red..  We had a really fun day... Benson fell asleep in the cab on our way home.... =)

Movie Date <3

Today hub & I had Movie Date at Nex... Sis offered to help us for a few hours.. So we can catch a movie... Really wanna thanks her for helping us all along... =) Today went to catch ( 靈聼 ) .. Super long never watch scary movie.. 我越来越胆小了 =x Last time used to love scary movie so much.. But now.. I keep on covering my ears & eyes... I am super tensed.. Feel that all my muscle is so sore after the movie.. Haha so funny la...

Review :

Not as what me & hub is expecting.. Quite disappointed.. Story I feel a little 乱七八糟... This is my honest review.. Hope I don't offend anyone.. But overall sound effect is quite power... But not as scary as expected..

After movie we went to eat teppanyaki at food court ... Shiok because of the spicy chili... But very salty... Was a bit shock when I see the chef putting the salt to the veg & meat.. Is alot alot.. & there is a few customer watching with theirs eyes big big like me... Haha.. But anyway.. I'm really happy to have movie date with Hub... ^^ After dinner we walk to my mum place to pick Benson up... Was glad that he had fun playing with Kor Kor today... He missed Kor Kor so much.. Been telling me " Kor Kor , Kor Kor " every single day.. =)

Yummilicious

What I always believe is... Put in some " LOve " when i cook... I'm a happy woman when Hub & Benson finish all the food that I cooked for them.. Even I know I'm not really a great cook.. But I'm still learning to be one.. Wednesday evening we were at Sheng Shiong opp our house was thinking to buy some food to cook for tomorrow dinner... as usual Benson love to watch the crab & fishes in the tank...

Hub decided that we shall buy fish to fried it... Honestly speaking I'm a very very lousy cook towards fish.. Because i feel is so hard to cook.. I know fried fish is the most easy task.. But not at all to me... I tried once when we just moved here.. All the skin of the fish is ripping off by my pan when i flip it... & skin is sticking onto the pan... LOL... Hub was asking me why is our fish naked? I just can't stop laughing.. I said " I don't  know "... But i was lucky this time... we bought Happy Call pan... Yesterday tried to fried fish again... but this time using Happy call non stick pan... Finally! I did it ! The fish tasted crispy.. & smell very nice.. Even Benson love it... I'm also trying to learn to bake... Because Hub loves to eat cake.. maybe next time when i'm more free then i will start to source for recipe to bake... =)

Guilty

Have been feeling guilty of alot of things lately... Because sometime there is so much work at home & with my terrible headache.. My mood swing is bad.. Negative feeling is sinking in me towards Benson... Luckily Benson communcation skill is picking up quite ok... so I'm able to understand what he wants 90% of the time.. Haha... Lately he is also trying to test my limit by asking me to make milk for him but when i wanna pass to him.. He refused to hold on to it & drink... Which makes me angry at times.. sometime i just ignore him.. Then he realise that i'm not in the mood for his trick .. he will come say " mama , neh neh " ... Anyway back to the topic abt guilt... I haven been playing with him alot as housework then cook dinner... I only be able to really sit down is after dinner time.. so i'm trying my very best to do colouring, singing & play toys with him... Then after a quick shower is time to prepare for Bed... Because next day have to wake up at 8am for school... We tried to train him to sleep as early as possible.. But always end up he sleep at 10.30pm.. But still able to wake at 7.45am ~ 8am for his school.. Have not being bringing him out for this week... due to my bad headache... So Tomorrow Hub is planning to bring him to " Thomas Train " Movie.. Is the first time we bring Benson for a movie.. I'm stress.. But I'm positive about it... =) After movie will be wild wild wet for a swim Then back home to nap... After nap will be going east coast park for cycling... Gonna be a long & fun day tomorrow.. ^^ Can't wait !

Cost Saving

I'm sure some of the Mummies & Daddies might have finance difficulties at times.. I been thru that as well... When our house came & suddenly due to some partnership problem i gotta give up my own business & be a stay home mum due to me being 7 months pregnant with Benson... I'm sure no company will even wanna interview me... Because all things came at once... So when finance is tight... "Cost Saving" will very automactically comes into our mind... I may not have alot of ideal on how to saved up... But i'm still learning =) Just pass a 1 or 2 tricks... To those who wanna save some cost...

Suggestion 1:

Instead of using Baby Bottle Sterilizer ... I don't own one.. { So i took the picture from net.. }

Solution : There is 2 ways...

 Solution 1:

Use water to boil.. Which i did but after that I think is not easy looking after a cranky newborn & watching the fire..

Solution 2 :

Use a 3 Deck food steamer... Choose those that is higher in height.. So u can put in all 2-3 bottles if u are using lot's of them.. I only use one deck for mine..

Suggestion 2: Avent Steamer Plus Blender ( If u have extra cash on hand u can buy one...  )

Solution : Buy this puree maker bowl ( The photo below ) From Daiso for just $2 ..

How to use it: U must steam fruits or veg first in ur steamer ( No need to steam for papaya & banana ) .. After the fruits & food is steamer soften there is a rough patch on top , middle of the puree bowl... Just use a spoon or use ur hand to hold on to the food & start rubbing on the rough surface.. The puree will flow to the side catcher of the bowl.. & u can feed ur baby direct from the catcher... Is simple & mess free...

If you really needed help u may wanna reached out for second hand item or people to bless u some second hand item..

Tips For Meat: Instead of buying fresh meat, U can choose to buy Frozen meat... The price different can be $1-$2 or more depends if there is any promotion.

Tips for going to market: Always prepare a shopping list first before heading out... Because it happened to me.. I didn't prepare any list but when i reached market my mind went blank.. & I bought alot of unnecessary food which will go to waste...

Little 包 boy..

Why I call Benson little 包 boy.. Because he fell & knock his head yesterday in school... Aiyo my poor boy... Was surprise that the teacher didn't call me up on my phone.. Teacher said he cried for a while finding " mama " but after the pain is not so intense anymore he stopped.. Phew.. Really lucky is not a very very very bad knock... I just get to know he fell when I pick him after his school... My heart skip a min.. Maybe is because i was not around to see how he fell.. & didn't know how bad it is.. But thru his blue black I see... The fall shouldn't be bad... Today the blue black is lighten.. The 包 has gone down too... Well.. The teacher said sorry to be.. But I say is ok.. Sometime a little fall cannot be prevented.. Unless someone pushes him then I will sure get angry .... After get home he is super active.. Fed him lunch & have shower.. But don't know why his nap timing is starting to change.. Last time is abt 12.30-1pm his nap will kick in.. But now he can tahan till 2.30-4pm then he nap... =.=

Was very happy that he can count now.. After he went to playgroup I'm really impress how it affect his learning.. He is quite a fast learner.. He now can count 1-14 but 1,7,11 is still missing.. Haha.. Abc still ok.. But is mixing up all the time.. Haha.. It never failed to make me & hub burst into laughter.. But we try to control so it won't affect his confident.. Confident is very very important for a growing & learning toddler.. Once the confidents is affected.. Is very hard to gain back. So must be really careful in our words action..

Called up PCF asking about the enrollment for the outlet at Punggol vista.. Is super near our home.. Just a carpark away.. If really got space for him & cfm abt putting him into childcare I must start thinking of what should I do.. Should I work? Or should I carry on my home based? Well.. That one I left it after everything is confirm.. Just hope that he will get used to the change .. From 2hrs playgroup to a full day childcare...

Yesterday is Mother's Day... Is my Second Mother's Day... =) Afternoon went to Mother in law place for lunch... Benson fell asleep when we r on our way there... so he nap in the room while we took our lunch first...

After that we went to Mum place for dinner.. =)
