Punggol CC had put up the Singapore Courtesy Lion.. To be honest is been a super long time since i last saw one... By seeing this make me think again.. Are Singaporean Courtesy enough? I'm a purely Singaporean too.. But at times it pissed me off when I send Benson to playgroup in the morning & we needed to take the LRT... When we r going to alight at our station... Alot of the people just rushed in & I need to struggle my way out with Benson in pram... This is not only about Courtesy problem.. Is a EQ kind of problem too... Example: In the toliet... If someone were to use the same cubicle as I'm .. of course they need to wait for me to get out before they get in , Isn't it? Sometime i can be quite naughty.. I would use my pram to get on their shoes if they don't give way... I just feel that they asking for it.... & I hate to step into Compass point because of Sengkang mrt... & I tell u! The lift... Is all youngster, healthy walking people, beautiful office lady, very fit looking office guy... snatching space to get into the lift.. while all with wheelchair, pram, toddler have to wait for 2~3 rounds in order to get into the lift... So U tell me la.. How not to get pissed??? Maybe u find me ranting too much.. But i tell u... Is a everyday thingy.. sometime just so tired to rant anymore...
Of course I do give up my seats in the bus or mrt to pregnant woman & kids or old age people... I know this is a personal choice.. We cannot expect others to do the same.. But at least we did... & I feel that how u behave & react, ur children will learn from there... I always say "
Thank you " to those who waited for us to come into the lift.. or help us press the open door button... That's why Benson had learn this important word from us .. "
Thank you " .. We appreciate people who helped us or be nice to us... Because we never expect people will do it.. But of course it would be nice...
I'm proud that We have taught Benson so much about being nice & show appreciative towards others who had been so nice to give a helping hands... I feel that this world or even " this country " really need more helpful & appreciative people around.. Hopefully this Courtesy Lion reminds us to be Courtesy where ever we go...
